Industrial cleaning

During a production process various types of installations, systems, pipes, (storage) tanks and spaces get contaminated. As a specialist in industrial cleaning, Smet Jet provides a wide range of services for large and small industrial production companies. For example, power plants, waste processors, metal processing companies, pharmaceutical companies, food producers, companies in the petrochemical and chemical industries.

High pressure cleaning

Smet Jet has various high-pressure machines, ranging from 150 to 3,000 bar at flow rates between 20 liters/min to 300 liters/min. The nature of cleaning depends on these pressures and flow rates.

With high pressure and high flow rates, we are able to perform concrete renovations while preserving reinforcement and counteracting cracks in the concrete, also called hydrodemolition.

Vacuum cleaning

A major aspect in industrial cleaning is the absorbing of dry matter using dry matter tankers, also known as vacuum blower tankers. 

These pressure/vacuum machines are equipped to perform your vacuum and blow operations as efficiently as possible. The tankers are able to vacuum or blow all types of dry matter, such as sand, grains, shells, ores, wood chips and coarse gravel.

Vacuum technology for liquids is one of the most efficient ways to suck up and pump large quantities of wet substances (think oil, polluted water, product residues or sludge). Our trucks are equipped to vacuum both hazardous (harmful, corrosive, flammable, toxic, environmentally hazardous) and non-hazardous products. All vacuum trucks are ADR approved for the transport of hazardous waste products released during cleaning operations. Our employees are trained to transport these ADR products in a safe and responsible manner.

Laser cleaning

Laser cleaning uses different processes that create a kind of gas layer between the substrate and contaminant. This gas layer causes the contaminants to separate from the subsurface. Because of the short-lived light pulses, the subsurface gets little or no heat. Laser cleaning causes no damage to the substrate, there is no secondary waste and it can be applied in places that are difficult to reach. Finally, it also ensures the safe removal of toxic substances. It is a human and environmentally friendly technology.

Smet Jet assists, guides and supports in environmental emergencies, working in close consultation with various government and emergency services.
